“A made-to-measure bookcase sounded simple until we looked at the access and the existing services. We wanted to support a large book collection without making the whole wall feel heavy. Because the room is in Benicàssim, we asked specifically about straightforward maintenance; it was covered in the proposed sequence. Those constraints were dealt with in the drawings, so fitting day was calm and well organised. The finish has been easy to maintain, which mattered to us as much as the appearance.”
